JewelPrice AI is built and operated by Accelate AI. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how you can request its deletion.

1. What We Collect

When you install JewelPrice AI, we store the following:

• Your shop domain so we can keep your data completely separate from other merchants. We never mix data across stores.
• Shopify session tokens so the app can update your product prices on your behalf. These are handled by Shopify's official authentication library.
• Metal and stone rates that you enter in the app. Stored in our database and tied to your shop only.
• Price update logs including a timestamp, how many variants were updated or skipped, and a snapshot of your previous prices so you can roll back if needed. Logs are kept for 90 days.

We also read your product variant metafields (metal type, weight, stone type, stone weight, making charge) at the time of an update to calculate prices. We do not store these values.

2. What We Don't Collect

We do not collect or store:

• Customer names, emails, or order data
• Payment or financial information
• Any data from outside your Shopify store

3. How We Use Your Data

Everything we collect is used only to run the app: calculating and applying jewellery prices on your store. We don't sell your data, share it with anyone, or use it for advertising.

4. Storage and Security

Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted by Render.com in the US. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit (TLS 1.2+). Only the app's server can read or write to the database.

5. Deletion

When you uninstall the app, Shopify notifies us automatically. We delete all your data (rates, update logs, price snapshots, and session tokens) within 48 hours.

If you'd like your data deleted sooner, email us at [email protected] with your shop domain and we'll take care of it right away.

6. A Note on GST

JewelPrice AI adds a 3% GST charge to your price calculations as a pricing convenience. This is not a tax filing tool and the rate may not apply to every product category. Please check with your CA for the correct GST rates for your business.
